POSITION OVERVIEW:

We have an exciting position available for a passionate and results-driven E-Commerce & Site Trading Manager to join our expanding E-commerce team. This individual will play a crucial role in optimising the VIEVE stores, driving growth through strategic initiatives, with a particular emphasis on data analysis and testing. The E-Commerce & Site Trading Manager will report directly to the Head of E-commerce, manage the E-Commerce Executive, and collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Operations, and NPD.

This role is hands-on, requiring the ability to juggle numerous projects and priorities simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

E-commerce growth strategy

  • Contribute and execute e-commerce short- and long-term strategy and collaborate on the E-Commerce roadmap.

E-commerce reporting & analytics

  • Monitor and report on daily web performance metrics, ensuring data-driven actions can be taken each week to drive incremental sales.
  • Prepare the E-Commerce weekly report before the Trade meeting on Mondays, providing insights from the past week and outlining actions for the upcoming week.
  • Conduct regular click funnel analyses and ad-hoc deep-dive onsite performance analyses to identify key opportunities.
  • Collaborate on post-campaign and promotion analyses of all site activities, sharing insights with the wider VIEVE team.

Site optimisation

  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce Executive to conduct weekly site audits, ensuring the highest quality and seamless shopping experience.
  • Lead site navigation updates and UX/UI improvements to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
  • Implement A/B and multivariate testing across the site to boost incremental sales.
  • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to address and resolve any site and order issues raised by customers.

Lead site content strategy

  • Own the e-commerce content calendar, ensuring alignment with other channels.
  • Collaborate with the E-Commerce Executive to develop innovative onsite campaigns for NPD launches and key focus moments for the brand.
  • Participate in the Weekly Planning meeting with the broader E-Commerce team, Marketing, and Creative teams to align on content and messaging across channels.

Own 3rd party integrations

  • Build and maintain relationship with tech partners, including Global E, Yotpo, Wishlist Plus and Klavyio.
  • Identify growth and development opportunities with our tech partners and within Shopify’s own apps.

Web Dev agency project management

  • Co-manage with the Head of E-Commerce the Web Development Agency.
  • Identify, coordinate, and collaborate with the Web Development agency to resolve any site issues and bugs.

SEO

  • Own the management of the SEO agency, prioritising tasks and internal business resources.
  • Lead SEO improvements (on- and off-page SEO, technical SEO) to enhance ranking on SERPs, utilising data and analytics to guide actions and measure results.

Commercial forecasting

  • Collaborate with the Operations team on forecasting for NPD and core units for the .com, contributing to optimise supply chain and costs.
  • Develop business cases for promotions, projects, and new growth opportunities.

Team management

  • Manage a team of one, consisting of the E-Commerce Executive, and ensure their professional development.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 6+ years’ experience within digital trading role, site merchandising or related role for a DTC brand.
  • Experience and proven track record of improving online user experience and accelerate DTC growth.
  • Advance proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and Excel for reporting and data analysis, and experience in leveraging data analytics tools and performance tests (e.g. A/B testing) for strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in managing wed dev agency and external partners.
  • Hands-on experience of content management systems, preferably Shopify.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and Google Search Console.
  • Bonus:
    • Previous experience in retail, beauty or fashion
    • Basic knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
